Michael Moore made himself and Disney lots

Michael Moore made himself and Disney lots of money by stirring up controversy for Fahrenheit 9/11. I'm confused though...where's the link between Disney and Fellowship Adventure Group? Surely the Weinstein's didn't purchase the film from Disney for the $78 million? How did Disney get that money back?

I think, supposedly, Disney/Weinstein bros set up the Fellowship Adventure Group, basically to pass the money through.

Pretend like the Adv. Group distributes the film...but then it gives the $ back to Disney...?

Almost all the money on any major feature film goes through
several different companies.
It's all a shell game. That said, oh Michael Moore. Then again, all you have to do nowadays is scream loud enough, no matter who you are, and someone's bound to pay attention.
