I love seeing this combination of maps and literature! This also reminds me of the Plotlines project on Peter Guillam's site (found on FlowingData), a similar concept.
From Blood Meridian to Treasure Island, this is great.
I very much enjoyed this way to get more context about some of the stories I've really loved. Also, it's just a great list of books to use for future reading adventures!
