A24’s Young Anthony Bourdain Movie
Huh. A24 is coming out with an Anthony Bourdain biopic that focuses on the time period around the chef/writer’s college years, when he first started working in kitchens. Directed by Matt Johnson, who co-created Nirvana the Band the Show and directed BlackBerry. Could be good. (via rex)

This was an entertaining review of the trailer. "In this case, the more time Culinary Surf Dracula spends waxing his board and practicing his stance, the better."
Bourdain's book pushed me towards culinary school which changed the course of my career. I'm very very... VERY interested in how this movie will do.
Can't wait to see this. Read the book years ago and re-listened last year to the audiobook. I thought the actor, Dominic Sessa, should have been nominated for an Oscar for The Holdovers with Paul Giamatti, so am anxious to see how he does here.
