Matt Webb’s interesting observations on running his first marathon. “There are new experiences to be found, when you go past your limits, which aren’t like the old ones scaled up. They’re something distinct. Unanticipated and unanticipatable.”

Related: Professor Lieberman's book on running, "Exercised". It's ostensibly about exercise :-) but really it's a love story for running and how everybody should run. I am not a runner but the 2 times I've read it, I wanted to take up running that's how compelling a book it is! Highly Recommended!
