This is all a little implausible. Three movies are listed as the inspiration for Elle and her eyepatch, for example. Were they *really* an inspiration, or are they just three (action) movies that feature an eyepatch?
The eyepatch is just a cool device, I don't think Tarantino needed to pull it from anywhere... (Nice sword work without stereo vision, by the way.)
