Aw, man...Eliot is ceasing publication on slower.net, one of my favorite photoblogs. Ended on a great note though.

Eliot Shepard has some advice for those entering a photography competition...or really, on how you might go about taking a good photo.
A big dog on the subway with a fur-coated owner and a brick in its mouth. And I believe it's a "pit bull-type" dog.
This is one of my favorite photos on the internet ever.
Eliot's stalking of The Donald finally pays off with this shot from Fashion Week of him and his newish bride. (Note to Mr. Trump's lawyers and/or law enforcement: Eliot is not really stalking Donald Trump. Well, at least I don't think he is. I mean, he could be, but probably not. Probably.)
Eliot's presentation has some great thoughts about photoblogging and where it's going. Overproduction, overconsumption, and inappropriate audience participation are some of the pitfalls of photoblogging. This probably goes for regular blogging as well.
Kdunk with cherry blossoms. Love this photo.
