Thing I am going to make time for in the next few days: Harry Styles and Thom Yorke in conversation. “My laptop has been dead for about 6 years. I don’t know where my charger is.” There’s an accompanying Rolling Stone cover story.

I LOVED this convo! I'm inspired by anybody who can have fun/be playful while also taking their own growth and creativity seriously. did you know Harry has become a distance runner who's friends with Haruki Murakami? I'm no 1D fan but that is such a green flag.

I found Harry to be incredibly boring and a poor communicator and I was watching Thom get frustrated.  Harry was trying hard to be profound, and failing IMO, and Thom gave me the impression he'd be great fun to hang out with at the pub.

I agree that Thom was more engaging, but I wonder whether Harry is just not experienced enough to have thought deeply about some of the things they were discussing. (I also found his accent very distracting. He has an odd mix of Cheshire, which I am familiar with, but also something else. Maybe Irish or Australian. Perhaps Niall Horan's accent has rubbed off on him.)
