It's better: if he's reelected then, well, he's an MP again, and so the parliamentary standards process restarts. If he did indeed violate them (and if he didn't why did he resign?) then quite likely the result is another byelection, except in that one everyone will know a lot more about his shady dealings. Other parties will stand in that one.
And it gets better still: since all the other parties have refused to stand to show up his stupid vanity tantrum for what it is, if you don't want Farage to win then you have one way of showing that: voting for Count Binface. He might ... win, which would be a fitting end to darling Nigel's political career.
There is a wonderful slogan for Count Binface's campaign I've heard based on a word that sounds a bit like 'count': I won't repeat it here.

One of my favourite things about the UK is the strong thread of political satire that runs through elections. Satire isn’t confined to literature, art and media coverage here, it also emerges within the electoral process as a kind of performance art (see also: Monster Raving Loony Party).
That said, in 2026 I feel like Binface could do a decent job as an actual MP. Better than Farage, for sure.
