Saw a nice comment recently that I'll butcher here but, even at the end, Leo Messi is just getting started. The World Cup, for all its undeniable, off-the-field abominations, has been a delight on the pitch, and Messi's hat trick start is a big part of that narrative.
The opening part of this clip reminds me a bit of Zidane — A 21th Century Portrait, a 2006 documentary that follows Zinedine Zidane around the pitch for an entire match. The best players: always looking, looking, looking.
