While I agree that, given the right lens, there are no inherently boring subjects, I must point out that there are some truly tedious people in this world who can energy vampire the shit out of any topic.

I've made it my personal mission to make the young whippersnappers who work at a coffee shop I frequent make small talk with me. I see these people at least twice a week, let's not act like we're total strangers. Hell yes I will make you talk to me about the weather and the Grammys and I will say "Hi, how are you?" before I order my coffee whether you want me to or not.
