That's quite a study to publish on April Fools day! The linked original article from Science goes over my head but seems legit and will hopefully have some practical applications, but of course I'm just imagining this leading to the world's most hallucinogenic cigarette!
Yeah, I genuinely don't know if this is legit or not. If it's a prank, they did it right, with a paper in a peer-reviewed journal.
