Fantastic. His post "The Web is a Customer Service Medium" captures the state of the world as much now as it did 15 (!) years ago. Glad to see him back.

Hopefully the Kottke community will appreciate this: A story of one of the most exasperating Missed Connections of my life:

I've been reading Paul Ford since the days of the early internet, early 2000s or so. I've always admired his mind and thought process, gobbling up every piece the same way I do posts here.

Fast forward to the late 2010s. My kid graduates out of our neighborhood daycare, and ONLY THEN do I learn that Paul Ford was one of the dads I'd seen for years at pickup.

Never got the chance to say hello or thank you. What a world.

His ftrain site was dormant in my RSS reader for years (?). Recently it came alive again, and I was so happy.

What is his RSS feed address? I couldn't find it and my attempts to guess it, well, failed.

Also, many (most?) feed readers will let you just paste the site URL in and they'll auto-detect the RSS feed.
