People can import full-sized American pickups to the EU through a "work truck" loophole—they get different license plates and everything. We've got a Dodge Ram in our neighborhood here in Amsterdam, and I cannot comprehend why that person is subjecting themselves to so much inconvenience trying to navigate our little Dutch streets.
