I recently went to a club alone and venue had a balcony, which was perfect. I just sat up there watching the music and the crowd

Same for traveling in general. I love traveling with my wife, etc. But traveling alone is also very, very nice.

Museums. I can visit as a group, but my preference is to be solo. Go at your own pace!

Even when I go to museums with my partner, she and I both put in headphones and explore on our own. Occasionally we show each other things that stood out, but it's a mostly solo experience. Going to museums with chatty people is not even worth doing.

I have been to many a club show solo. My spouse travels, and most of the people we know in town don't like the same music I do. So if he's out of town and I want to see it...I've gotta go on my own. I've seen so many amazing shows that way. (Sorry, this part of the comment wasn't a response to you, but to the post...)

I have, also, gone to so many museums on my own. Same reasoning, in most cases -- like when my spouse was in Europe doing his dissertation and there was an exhibit at MOMA I wanted to see, I flew down on my own. Or, we lived in Germany for six months last year, and he was off doing research and my kid was in school, and I wanted to go see the museums in Köln or München. Museums are actually much easier solo than going to clubs solo.
