It's amazing in its own right, but my favorite story about The Age of Innocence is that reading it in a lit class directly resulted in two broken engagements at my evangelical college

Watching the video after you posted it made me want to revisit it too. Wharton has some of that same complex commentary as Middlemarch, I think you’ll like it!
So I just started reading and I'm hooked from page 1. Ok, back to it...
