Peak Design also has a lifetime warranty. I’ve used it once or twice and it’s been painless. I’ve used their backpacks, slings, and messengers for years and love them. Their new carryon suitcase is fantastic if you can find a good sale.
I paid for 5 pairs of Darn Tough socks 10 years ago that have each been replaced 2-3 times.
we have an old le creuset pot. The enamel bottom of the pot flaked off and they replaced it, postage paid, requiring just an image showing the damage.
Had the same level of responsiveness with Lodge for their enamel cast iron pot, FYI. Love that they both did this!
Minority report: I had a $600 Briggs and Riley suitcase with a busted zipper. When I contacted them they said yeah, no problem will fix it for free, but you have to ship it to us in LA or NY, and then pay for return shipping, which I figure would be ~$200. There was no "just send a photo of the broken suitcase to us and we'll send you a new one". Legendary lifetime warranty or marketing stunt? You be the judge....

This is the name that'll be displayed next to comments you make on kottke.org; your email will not be displayed publicly. I'd encourage you to use your real name (or at least your first name and last initial) but you can also pick something that you go by when you participate in communities online. Choose something durable and reasonably unique (not "Me" or "anon"). Please don't change this often. No impersonation.
Note: I'm letting folks change their display names because the membership service that kottke.org uses collects full names and I thought some people might not want their names displayed publicly here. If it gets abused, I might disable this feature.
