Climate scientists (I used to work for a climate science centre) have constructed models which are more than adequate to tell us that we're in very serious trouble unless we take really serious action which was urgent ten years ago to address the problem.
We have, collectively, decided to not take that action. I pity young people who will suffer for our actions.
