Interesting. On 09-06, I saw leaves that already had changed, but that's several weeks ahead of the predicted "schedule."
Yeah, there are always a few trees here in VT that turn in mid-August, far ahead of any schedule I've ever seen.
I have 2 maples in my front yard in Denver that started turning a couple of weeks ago, which is a bit early. Here's a local weather segment explaining the reason out west and predicting a less than vibrant showing this year.
We have been very dry this summer, @Tra H, and I have assumed that that has caused some early color (and probably less of it overall this year).
Can decorative gourd season be far behind?
