That's exactly why I've been going, hoping that every crowd begets a bigger crowd next time; that every sign inspires someone else to make a sign, chant along, join the march. Critical mass doesn't happen the first time, or even the tenth, but someday, and maybe soon, it may be necessary for a hundred thousand, or a million people to be in a place at the same time, and for each of that million people to know that there will be others beside them.
