Those wanting to experience this for themselves should hunt down Harmy's Despecialized Edition. Or Project 4K77 (there are also 4K80 and 4K83 files out there). Or Star Wars Grindhouse.

I'll second 4K77,80,83 I like them better than the Despecialized Edition. Their process was to collect as many original prints of the movie as possible and restore them frame by frame.
