How I’d Fix Atlanta. “In each of these essays, a citizen of Georgia’s capital argues for one way we could make our city better.”

Oh, wow! My friend, Hannah Palmer is one of the writers featured here. If you’ve not read her book, The Pool is Closed, it’s an eye-opening foray into how access to water reflects entrenched racism in the South. (And, wow — do I miss living in Atlanta! For all its challenges, it remains a great American city.)

Very interesting. As a former ATLien (Cobb county suburbanite tbh) I often joke that i 'escaped' Atlanta. When i say that i'm really talking about the traffic, congestion, and disparate driving experiences that seems to tint life there. Fantastic experiences, but often bookended by stupid things like traffic, parking, and crazy drivers.
I could imagine an Atlanta ten years in the future where public transport was quick and easy and it would be such an incredible place.
