There’s a new Frank Lloyd Wright house that was just built in Ohio. The home was constructed according to plans completed by Wright just before his death.

Usonia was Frank Lloyd Wright's plan for how Americans should live:

Usonia, Wright imagined, would be a nation of modest but comfortable, well-made and beautiful homes for the working- and middle-classes.

For Wright, housing the American people was a matter of individualization, mass-customization, rather than cookie-cutter mass-production.

There's a terrific 99 Percent Invisible podcast episode on Usonian homes.

It's my favourite podcast and I'm always happy to find reasons to recommend it.
