Coco 2? Pixar will produce a sequel to Coco, set to come out in 2029. It joins Incredibles 3 and Toy Story 5 in development at the studio.

Coco is one of the more emotionally devastating movies I've ever watched, though granted, I happened to have lost three very long-lived grandparents within a year of watching it, so perhaps I was especially vulnerable to its central theme. All that said, a sequel doesn't feel like a good idea.
