one of the great web 1.0 projects that delivers in its same format 30 years later. learn something new about art and culture every time I poke around.
My favourite justification for sites like Ubu is it's for curious kids in small towns who don't have access to museums and libraries.
A much better justification is that it preserves countercultures with the implicit message or reminder that there are alternatives to the right wing "OneThink" bullshit being forced on us.
Contra Thatcher and Reagan, there are alternatives.
