I absolutely adored his performance as the silly screenwriter in Get Shorty, and thought The Conversation one of the best movies of the 70s. Also good in Young Frankenstein.
I did not know he was married to a gal from Hawaii. I did know he lived in Santa Fe. Seemed like a good sport.
