So very cool. I'm glad they're doing inventories and keeping track of these. I've collected old newspaper articles telling of a remarkable 1896 find near my town in South Jersey:

He was pushing his way through the thicket, when he stumbled over what appeared to be the trunk of a tree, but which proved to be part of an Indian canoe, fastened to a tree. In the canoe, about eighteen feet long, were several stone knives, a tomahawk, an axe shaped like a butcher's cleaver and an earthen pot. Next day a searching party... found traces of Indian mounds north of the swamp.

I've found no trace of what happened to any of these artifacts. They just vanished. So sad.
