What the…??! It seems that Back to the Future and The Goonies were both set on the same day, Saturday, Oct. 26, 1985. (And it might be a Spielberg Easter egg.)

According to Wikipedia, that was the day the Australian government gave Uluru (fka Ayers Rock) back to the Pitjantjatjara Aboriginals. Is there a connection? Does a large chunk of stone in Oz have anything to do with these two adventures?
