Once upon a time, I ran a highly successful public blog that attracted hundreds of thousands of readers. However, I eventually "burnt out"โa feeling I'm sure you understand, Jason.
My passion for writing never faded, however. I continued to write privately, and some of those private pieces are truly my best work.
Now, I'm seriously considering a return to public writing and, as part of that process, I'm exploring new platforms. This post is incredibly useful in helping me identify the right one. I'm envisioning a blend of my own hosted site along with a weekly or bi-weekly newsletter through Buttondown.
For those interested, my focus is on personal finance and self-improvement, framed through essays that make me sound like a comical train wreck at times.
