at 4 months we started feeding our daughter Bambas - in addition to being not terribly unhealthy for a snack food (basically corn+peanuts+oil) she immediately had exposure to peanuts in a easily portable food that we all were happy to gobble down with her.
Bonus - you can get the same stuff for much cheaper at Trader Joes.
