Polostan: Volume One of Bomb Light: A Riveting Historical Epic of International Espionage, Intrigue, and the Dawn of the Atomic Age. I haven’t read every Neal Stephenson book, but I’ve loved those I have (incl. Seveneves).

I’ve read almost all of his books. And I’ve liked almost all that I’ve read. (Some are better than others, of course.) I do like his sprawling epics (Cryptonomicon, the Baroque Cycle, Anathem (kinda)). So, this is exciting.

I've read most of his books, but could not get through his last one. Cautiously optimistic about this new one 😅

Yeah. In same boat. I've learned to put down ones that don't connect. But, damn, the BC is still my fave and Seveneves and Anathem are close.
