If you play Spelling Bee, the Times has a Spelling Bee Buddy that offers statistics and personalized hints that update as you play. (There’s also a Connections Bot.)

I have really been enjoying Spelling Bee Buddy the past month or so. I usually start without, then gradually start looking at some of the more basic features when I run into a little wall, and some of the hints when I get desperate. I use the Arc browser, which supports having two windows pinned side by side, which is a great way to use this!

I'll take this opportunity to say that the Wordle Bot is terrible and doesn't know what the hell it's talking about.

The Wordle Bot definitely needs some fine-tuning.

"There is only one possible word left. You should solve the puzzle on your next turn."

* chooses a normal English word *

"Huh, we didn't think you'd pick THAT word. There is only one possible word left. You should solve the puzzle on your next turn."

Interesting! Have you tried using it? I use the hints grid once I hit genius and then community hints (Steve G) to get to the end
