The sci fi writer Larry Niven (his later stuff turned sort of grotesque and dark and politically questionable, but his stuff from the 70s was kind of great) has a short story "The Borderland of Sol." In it, someone figures out that the Tunguska Event was caused by a primordial black hole, and then sets out to find it.....
