This is the sort of thing we need more of and that will help solve poverty cycles. Less complicated means testing, case worker, and tax maneuvers and more simple, available, direct aid to all.
In a bit of kismet, I discovered Give Directlytoday.
There’s a lot of compelling evidence for direct cash payments to those who need it, and this is a great way to do it.
