While all of Tomita’s work is special, especially his Gustav Holst album, this song is a true standout.
Isao Tomita's adaptation of Clair de Lune is also amazing, and was featured in Ted Lasso (in the Coach Beard episode)!
I grew up with Tomita - my father played his albums when I was a kid and at the time I thought it was super strange, but, I came to adore his music. I really appreciated how he took these amazing classical pieces and set them to the (then new) synthesizers. I think the computerized whistling was my favorite. I'll shout out Golliwog's Cakewalk on the Snowflakes are Dancing album. So fun. And seconded for Claire De Lune! One of my all time favorite classical pieces.
