Scary triangles of the bedroom: my cat’s ears as it’s peering over the edge of my bed preparing to attack my ankles.
When your party is in a cave and your DM didn't explicitly state that it's not full of kobolds, but they did just dump 12 d4's onto the table and said "everybody roll awareness." That's scary triangles.
