Wow, this solidified a memory in my young life. Whenever my parents left my sister in charge she would keep my little brother and me busy by telling us to go play "roach hunt". I remember thinking there were so many roaches but in recent years I just assumed I was young and misremembering how many roaches there were because you rarely see that many anymore. I guess not though! Great post.
