I watched David Fincher’s The Killer last night (loved it, actually) and enjoyed Max Read’s take: “…it reminds us that throughout his career Fincher has been in dialogue with the concerns of 4chan and the rest of Loser Internet”.

love this take and this quote. fincher's strongest work for me has always been exploring these scenarios totally wracked and wrecked by the internet but where the internet itself isn't front and center. i liked the killer waaaaay more than i expected to, tbh.
