I came up with a tiny snippet of code that will annotate gift links (no paywall!) from NY Times, Washington Post, and the Atlantic using pure CSS. You can see it in action here.

Brilliant! (Now if only there were a way to see SNL YouTube videos outside the U.S. :) ) But this code is great! The Atlantic is always a problem for me...you have to have so many subscriptions these days to read or watch anything .

Hey, look at that, a CSS-Trick.

The old a[href$=".pdf"] { content: " (PDF)"; } is another favorite of mine.
