I don't quite understand the ongoing facination with Spiers. Her work with Gawker those many years ago was groundbreaking for the genre, but it doesn't seem like she's done much of interest since. Every time she changes jobs, we bloggers take note ... but do we read her content any more? I know I don't, and I don't see her linked much by others, either.

Sorry, I did the first design and logo for Gawker when it launched, so you're going to have to put up with me following the old guard Gawker folks from time to time. It'll be ok.
