Matter's New Haven Railroad logo isn't dead! I see it every time I go to Union Station here.
(Although, admittedly, it isn't on the trains anymore: now they're Metro-North and Amtrak.)

I'm sure that logo is dead, they just haven't got around to buying new equipment with the new logo or it is there just for nostalgic reasons.
