it jumps from 1984 to 2000 with os x.

Yeah, I was looking forward to seeing the very ones they left out. Although I did find the similarities between the 80's era GUI and OS X (like the "Column View") amusing.

schiano: it is missing, numerically, quite a few releases. but, style-wise. not much. i would have liked one system 7,8, or 9 screenshot.

GUIdebook (http://www.aci.com.pl/mwichary/guidebook/) has a much more complete history, although the prototype pics where pretty cool.
