About fifteen years ago I remember playing a game called President Elect on the Apple IIe. Candidates had geographic strengths and there was even some sort of construct for debates. It was fun trying to get Mondale to win anything. Good times.

old computers are so cool.
some of those old games were so much more playable/enjoyable than most of the crap we play today, despite the insanely awesome graphics, and the superstar actors and the kick-ass guns we get now. hear me now.

That game was AWESOME. I would love to find an emulator for it!

It may not be what you're looking for, but there's an Iowa Caucus game up on Howard Dean's website.

I agree that a campaign sim would rock.
