That is the worst NES emulator I've ever seen, also.

Yeah, very good idea. If the emulator didn't suck, this would be a lot more convenient than having to download and install the emulator and all the game files.

Aw hell.... "bad emulator" sure... It was so cool playing some of the games on there! The applet (or whatever it was) was responsive and the collection of games was decent. What more do you want? It's definitely not a serious effort per se... I think it's more like "Hey! Remember these?!" and did the job nicely (maybe showed off his programming skills in the process too).
Download "Nester", a popular NES emulator, and the only other functionalities you'll have is custom key mapping, fullscreen capabilities, and savestate options (besides others, obviously, but these I've used the most).
I really dont see why it would incur lawsuits.... I mean, he's not offering the games for free... it's almost like he's got a free arcade parlour running! Is that legal? I mean, would he actually have to pay Nintendo a "tiny fee" for it? For games as old as 1984? That's... sad.

If any of you have PDAs, get NesEm. I love that program. Nothing like being able to play Nintendo games on your Palm when you're waiting in line or something.

it's just too difficult, especially with the preset keys (alt &c), to play. but yeah, good idea.

Yes if you distribute emulators with ROMs on the web without the permission of the game maker you can get sued.
