Isn't this the third of fourth time Family guy has "come back" only to be cancelled after one season? They should stop marketing it as prime-time Simpsons-esq family programming because it's apparently too racey to keep on the air for more than one season at a time.

Bah, who cares dowingba? The prospect of any new episodes at all is enough to cream my jeans.

Well the last season was kind of disappointing, in my opinion.

Family guy was moved from time slot to time slot. No one ever knew when the show was going to be on. The DVD sales show that there is a real base of loyal fans out there that want to see it. The one move I would love to see happen is King of the Hill can nixed or moved to Monday or something and Family guy moved in its place before the Simpsons. Then I would have two shows I loved back to back. But to be honest King of the Hill is too popular to cancel so that won't happen. The real need here is for Fox to pick a decent time slot and leave it the hell alone.

Family Guy was indeed canceled TWICE. Once after Season 2 and then after Season 3. In fact, when Fox brought it back for a third season, I didn't even know about it until after a month. That just goes to show they didn't try enough. Anyways, all networks cancel shows now if they're not hits in the first two weeks. Whatever happened to building a fan base. You think Seinfeld and Cheers were hits right off the bat? Let the show breathe a bit, fer cryin out loud. Family Guy is hands down the funniest show of all time. Funnier than Seinfeld, Simpsons (especially now; Fox can go ahead and can that piece of garbage now, it's way past its prime) and South Park. Futurama was also great, almost as funny as Family Guy, but in a different way. Both are great shows, and both got a raw deal. In my opinion, Seth MacFarlane is a comedy genius and should be hailed as such. The success of King of the Hill eludes me as it is nothing more than a regular sitcom that just happens to be animated. Family Guy rules!

Well, hopefully Fox will bring it back. It's obvious from the comments made by Simpson fans turned Family guy fans that Family Guy was the superior show. Fox became upset that their precious little Simpsons were being outdone by a show that was actually funny and not old and boring. This is a perfect example of why massive corporations ruin the entertainment industry. So, now Fox wants the show back since they realize that people haven't just forgot about it? They can burn in hell as far as I am concerned.

Most people agree that Fox moved Family Guy around so much that no one knew when it was on... as if they were trying to create a reason to cancel it. Now why would they do a thing like that, you ask? Most likely because that the Republican/right-wing Fox disliked showing this slightly Democratic/left-wing Family Guy. So it did what any good Republican entity would do, which is conspire against the enemy, to play dirty to get its own way.

family guy freakin' rocks. i'm thirteen years old and have huge opinions on all shows that come to air. family guy is definitely the most clever show i have ever seen, clearly topping the simpsons. if the show comes back, i honestly think it will run for as long as the simpsons has and be the best show on television. if anyone disagrees, get the hell of the family guy website!

Family guy rules. Family guy gives a new twiest on politicaly incorect beliefes. I could care less about the simpsons anymore, ever since 98 or so it has been a shit bag waiting to brake open. There is way to much satire, and it has no meaning anymore. Family guy, at its time did not interest me. But once it came back in syndication on Cartoon Network I fell in love with it. I didn't like it at the time, because just like right now, I thought it was some cheesy new show that FOX was pumping out with its reality shows for ratings, and didnt even give it a bother. Now that I see no one gave it a chance, and seeing how it rocks the fuck out of any other cartoon, I think it should come back. Its about time a baby can rule the world and not be put down for it!
