Talk about television. Don't let the programs just wash over you. Compare notes with family and friends. Look to the Internet, where programs are debated.
I watch alot of TV and tell my friends what I see, but it's rare that I find someone to actually discuss a show with. No one I know admits to watching TV, especially not cable.
