he's leaving.
it's all a matter of money, with Fergie's hands tied for buying until cash is freed up (Barthez and co. won't fetch the sums needed), Becks is clearly the one they could sell to get that kind of folding money.

according to my local paper, the manchester evening news, beckham denied that he or his representatives had spoken to real madrid. however, I'm sceptical - all parties have to deny any deal because of how it would affect the share prices. though I don't want him to leave my beloved club, I suspect it's already a done deal...
