Indeed, it's more than a little underwhelming. But, I guess Blogger still has a corner on the "really bloody easy to setup and use" market, so this will affect a lot of people in positive ways. Still, having been basking in the power of MovableType for over a year now, it's hard to be impressed with Blogger.

Blogger's the Hyundai or the McDonald's of the market, depending upon what analogy you want to use. [Whether it stays the largest backend for webloggers remains to be seen. If so, then it's McD's: cheap, filling, not satisfying, ubiquitous.]
