I was recently wondering if any of the Creative Commons licenses had been upheld in court; a CC license was recently upheld in a Dutch courtroom.

MetaFilter's doing a unique fundraiser for Creative Commons (with Dropcash!)...they've taken two annoying MeFi users and put their banishment up to a vote...first person to get $500 pledged against them gets banned for a week.

"It was in some ways a tough decision, because you want to 'protect' yourself, but then you realize you're not really 'protecting' anything; all you're doing is being a paranoid twitch-bag.
