The Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act of 2008

The purpose of the Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act of 2008:

To prohibit discrimination on the basis of genetic information with respect to health insurance and employment.

It passed the Senate earlier this year is expected to be signed into law by the President soon. No Gattaca! (via nyer conference)
