turn off the 0sil8 and blog on with kottke.org?

I only started reading kottke.org because i was waiting for 0sil8 updates (side note: "Simply Porn" was my gateway into the hypertext goodness that is/was 0sil8). I'd hate to see it go...

You're probably right. I mean, it's much more important that we know your feelings about Godfather II than you actually, I don't know, create something.

As soon as you find me a time machine and some large chunks of uninterrupted free time, I'll be happy to go back to doing 0sil8. In the meantime, I'll continue to do what I feel like and pretend I don't owe you anything.

Heh. You're being a little harsh. Can't a man retire and live on his rep?

pretend that you don't owe him (or us) anything? what's to pretend about? this is your site, not ours, and you owe us nothing.

It was a nicer way of saying just that. I stored it in my trove of useful expressions.

I just got a little teary eye'd when I read that...

Only if his rep assures a man his royalties.
